They are always busy but they got my elderly cat Bella in for an emergency appointment asap. She got a shot of antibiotics and some prescription food for a suspected UTI and she has been feeling much better.

We brought our family cat in (Siamese). It was a week where the vet was in surgery and wasn’t seeing walk-ins. Siamese was very sick with a growth in her mouth that manifested over the weekend. We got there at 0730 and was the 1st patient there. The receptionist was kind to us and allowed us to be a walk-in. The vet techs were sooo compassionate. The vet was so knowledgeable and kind. Siamese had multiple brain tumors and a lung mass. She was at the end of her life. They allowed me to go pick up my daughter (17) from school so she could be present during Siamese’s final moments. They were best friends. We were able to hold and love on Siamese as she pasted over the rainbow bridge. The entire office was extremely sweet and helpful. They made our hard decision so much easier. We received a sympathy card in the mail a week later with everyone’s signatures. It was a real nice and personable touch. My daughter also got a plaster impression of Siamese paw print. Thank you soooooo much for all that y’all do for us humans and our love ones!!!!❤️

they prescribed my best friends cat a medicine that was DONATED BACK to them after sever families used this same bottle for other pets. (other pets names still on the labels) our cat died in less than 24 hours after giving the medicine
I have four animals I take here; the staff is wonderful, the doctors are excellent, and it's always really clean. Lake Dow is also the least expensive vet I've found anywhere around:) Really can't say enough good things about this facility.
